      Today was a work from home day and I needed it. It appears that when I am in the office, my day is filled with meeting. However, when working from home I am able to get more done. I don't think it is because I have fewer meeting, but rather I am able to work on other things while I "attend" the meeting. Another thing I like to do during work from home days is laundry. It only takes a few minutes to sort and swap the laundry, but it makes me feel like I am being paid to do laundry. Plus, if I do laundry during the week, I don't have to do it over the weekend.   Speaking of laundry, why do we always seem to lose articles of clothing to the dryer? I am used to losing a sock here and there, but now it has eaten a pair of my underwear. I have always wondered if the socks are lost in the machine somewhere or if with all the spinning and heat, that it somehow opens a portal to another dimension and the socks go there? You would think that if we can put robots on ...

  It was wonderful waking up with Lee. We cuddled and he tried to talk me into staying home, but I had to get to work as I had meetings. After my shower, I was surprised to see that he was still in bed. I told him that I needed to get to work so he needed to get dressed. He said he thought that since he didn't need to get to his office for a couple of hours, he would stay at my house until it was time for him to leave. I know we are dating, but we have not dated long enough and I am not comfortable with him being in my house alone. I told him as much and after a lot of insisting, he got up and got dressed. We left my house at the same time, but only after a long kiss.   I have to say, I was glad that I had meetings today as I found it hard to focus as I kept thinking about Lee and last night.    Cheers for now.  

  Today I worked from home as I had no meetings. It was nice and I got a lot done. However, after work I was surprised by a knock on my door. It was Lee. He had flowers and a bag of groceries. He said he wanted to surprise me by making me dinner. I am glad I did not have any plans for the evening. He made us spaghetti (with homemade meatballs), salad and garlic bread. It was yummy.   After we cleaned the kitchen together, we snuggled on the couch. We then moved to the bedroom. I am looking forward to waking up with him.   Cheers for now.  

     I did not realized how much I have been missing out on the rumor mill at work. At lunch, I went out with Kim and she filled me in. First, it is rumored that Cheryl from accounting is seeing Dewan from IT. They have been seen talking to each other in the stairwell and talking to each other. Peter, from IT, said he saw them at lunch together. Second, I had noticed that Sean, from Procurement has been down lately, but the rumor is that his wife is having an affair and it now pregnant. He had a vasectomy last year so he knows the kid is not his. They say he has not confronted her yet. If this is true, it will devastate him as he loves his three kids. Their, was that there was a major shakeup coming in upper management. She wasn't sure, but heard that the CEO was going to have to step down because he got someone pregnant.   February 4, 1943. Stalingrad. In August, the Germans attacked our city and tired to drive us out. And when that didn't work, they tried to stave us out. However, they underestimated the strength of the Russian people. We held out and we fought on. And finally, our ally arrived. It wasn't any army or country, it was the Russian winter. The Germans were not prepared and soon the tides turned. We surrounded them and forced them to surrender. Long live Stalingrad!!!! Cheers for now.

    The date tonight was great. Lee picked me up after work and we went to very nice local place I had never tried before. The atmosphere was a little bar like, the but food was amazing. We then went to the theater. We got separate drinks but we shared a bucket of popcorn. The movie he took me to was called Argylle. I had not heard of it before and wasn't sure what to expect. However, it was good and I ended up really enjoying. After that, he took me back to my place.     Sadly he said he couldn't spend the night as he had to catch an early flight out in the morning. He is off to Houston for work. After a very long, passionate kiss, he left. Not how I imagined my evening ending, but it was still a great evening. Cheers for now.

     I was pretty busy at work today. I had two presentations and several meetings. They all went well, although the management meeting did run long. When I got home, my sister called. I am so excited as in just three weeks I will be going to New York to see her. She will have some time off then and we are going to do all the tourist things. It is going to be so much fun. I want to see the Statue of Liberty, Time Square and even take in a show on Broadway.
