2024-06-16: Father's Day

 

Today is Father's Day. Neither Chris nor I have children so we spend Mother's Day and Father's Day celebrating each other. After we got up, I took Chris out to breakfast. We went to a local diner were we just enjoyed each other's company and comfort food.  When we got back home, Chris put a pork tenderloin in the smoker. I strongly recommend finding a partner that knows their way around a smoker. You will not be sorry. 

I had purchases some petunias and marigold and we re-potted them. They look great in our new backyard. I asked Chris if he know what the flowers were called (because he is a man and men never know plant names). He said they were called Katie flowers because they are beautiful. I smiled and gave him a pass on the plant names. I love this man. 

We then did some prep work on our master bathroom as we are going to remodel it. There are some damage on the walls and he worked on fixing them. I told him that it was his day and he should relax. He said that if it is his day, then he can do what he wants.  

For dinner, I made some brussel sprouts with bacon (one of his favorites) and we served it with the pork tenderloin. It was a wonderful meal and we talked about our future together.

Hello, it is Chris here. In this article, I want to talk about the reactions of people when you tell them you are a doll owner. Telling someone that you own a doll is a very nerve-racking and scary thing to do. Given society's view on sex dolls, the big fear is either the loss of a friend or worse, being ostracized by your friends and family. This is why so many doll owners are closeted about it. We have a saying: we are not ashamed of what we do, we are just very selective in whom we tell.  A friend gave me some sage advice about if you should tell someone about your doll. Ask yourself, "What is there to gain by them knowing?" Then ask, "What is there to lose by them knowing?" A person might say that it is not worth telling anyone about it, but that can be very hard if you are very passionate about your doll (not sex-related, see this for more info), then you will want to share as it is what makes you happy or even is a creative outlet.   Something very

  Well, it was not fun, and I dreaded doing it the whole time, but I came clean to Lee's wife. I did a little research on Lee and was able to find his address. I went over at 10 am and I was correct, Lee was not there. When I knocked on the door and she answered it holding her son, I almost backed out. Almost. I introduced myself and told her that we needed to talk. I also told her it was probably best if we didn't talk in front of the children. She seemed concerned but interested so she invited me into the kitchen and told the kids to go watch some TV in the living room. She offered me a cup of coffee as I sat down.
